A note from Jaime Florez. In the summer of 2021 I was hospitalized due to COVID. I thought I was going to be out the next day or so, but unfortunately, I was in a hospital room for more than a month. There were approximately 40 covid patients at the same time, and only 3 made it alive. Thanks to the multiple calls my sister made to the hospital (she’s a doctor in Florida), and the many prayers from all my relatives, I was able to make it out of the hospital alive. After only 12 weeks, I lost 71 pounds from my max weight of 295 Lbs. My glucose levels dropped below 100 and I no longer suffer from hypertension. My cholesterol levels also dropped significantly. My overall physical fitness and energy levels exploded beyond my own belief. I am still going to the gym daily and I now enjoy eating healthy for the first time in my adult life.
